Lilly used to lick body butter off my legs when she was little. Doesn't do it now. It was quite sweet :)

It's just the salt. Salmon itself is fine. I wouldn't worry about it unless he's scoffed half a side of it.

Is it Mushers paw wax? I had wondered of that would help.
I don't think it causes any harm - its just cosmetic I think, the dogs aren't bothered by them.
We have just had Lilly at the vets for her ear. Apparently infection in the ear causes an increase in the wax production in an attempt to "wash"...
