As we know, labs love water but sometimes a rain coat would come in handy if it's a quick walk in the pouring rain.
I'm on the West Coast of Scotland and we get a fair amount of rain.
There are loads of coats and I was just looking for recommendations.
    Thanks folks.

    Hi @PantsFM,

For a solid and successful waterproof raincoat for your Labrador on the rainy West Coast of Scotland, consider brands like Ruffwear, Hurtta or Barbour. These brands offer waterproof, agreeable, and high-quality dog raincoats. Check surveys and size guides on locales like Amazon UK or Pets at Home for the best fit and choices.

    Thanks :)

I'd take a look at products like Equafleece as well - they're a jumper rather than a coat, but they stop the mud getting into your dog's fur on their legs and belly, and they're easier than a coat to bung through the wash when you get home :)

I live in Australia but in a high rainfall area and we have a dam on the property that they use even when it’s -2°c with frost on the ground. We are also instructors at our local obedience club and we train in all weathers excepting thunder storms. Our boys get absolutely soaking wet but I’m not sure their skin has ever been wet.

We decided to buy Ruff & Tumble towelling coats for them because they dry them off beautifully and because they won’t overheat when running around in the wet. We put them on before they hop back in the car and before they come back in the house..
They are not a cheap option but by far and away the best option for us.
